Design and Construction Administration of new Doors & Hardware & Access Control System, including a full survey of the entire five levels of this magnet high school and compilation of existing conditions.  The new door & hardware specifications were based on ADA code requirements, analysis of the existing egress and fire code requirements, security requirements outlined by the maintenance and grounds facility managers and the Newark Public Schools design standards.
The design of new door replacement takes into consideration several key issues, including structural stability of the frame, water resistance, air infiltration, and noise abatement.
