ENERGY AUDIT

An energy audit is an analysis to assess the performance of an existing building; building envelope, heating, hot water, lighting, and provides insight to targeting opportunities for energy efficiency improvements that result in reductions of utility expenses and drive overall cost-savings.
Energy audits vary by scope and complexity. A walk-through audit outlines the energy systems in your building. A full audit analyzes two or more years of utility consumption and spending, review of building plans, and a walk-through with survey of the building and systems. At the completion of the audit, we provide a detailed report of energy efficiency measures (ECMs) or energy conservation measures
PROCESS:
Analysis of current energy usage and costs
Virtual energy modeling
Analysis of Mechanical and ventilation systems
Building envelope evaluation
Lighting and control audit
Renewable energy assessment
IMPROVEMENTS
Recommendations for energy and water conservation measures
Recommendations for health, safety, and comfort measures
Calculation of saving-to-investment ratios or payback periods
Opportunities for renewable technologies; solar, geothermal, & wind
